We are looking for an RVN or experienced SVN (registered with RCVS), to complement our existing team. Working at our main site, we have separate cat and dog waiting areas and hospitalisation wards, 3 theatres including a dedicated feline theatre, nurse and feline consulting rooms, a laboratory, separate x-ray and ultrasound rooms, and a dental room with x-ray. We were crowned Flexible Small Business of the Year for a reason, and are happy to discuss what you need or desire; full-time, part-time, or anything in-between! No OOH (we use Willows or Vets Now) and our daytime weekends are worked on a rota. We hold Gold Cat Friendly, Silver Rabbit Friendly, VNTP, RCVS accredited status and we are excited to be working on the Dog Friendly Clinic scheme.
We are a close, supportive, independent practice that recognises the vital role nurses play and encourages their development, including regular 1 to 1s and monthly team meetings, where we put patient and client care at the forefront of our decisions, and welcome everyone's ideas. Lunch n' learns are also held regularly, and we provide plenty of opportunity to pursue interests, with fully-funded CPD.
Full-time salary for qualified nurses is £29-35k, depending on experience, skills and responsibilities undertaken, plus annual bonus based on practice performance. Workplace pension, enhanced maternity pay, health cash plan membership, paid volunteering day and cost price treatment for up to 3 pets.
